Step 1
Pick up the Telephone and call Capital
Ask to speak with a Design Consultant. They can explain to you how your ideas might work and costs involved.
Our experienced consultants are able to give you an accurate idea of what is involved before they even come to see you.
If you then feel inspired and would like to proceed, you can book an on site consultation for a more detailed evaluation.
Step 2
On site Consultation
A Capital consultant can visit your home to discuss your ideas and requirements before adding his own suggestions. From this collaborative effort a preliminary sketch and a reasonably accurate costing are developed.
At this stage you will have enough information to know if you wish to proceed and a fairly reasonable idea of the costs involved for finance purposes.

Step 3
Creating your extension design
Once you are happy with your Budget and Layout the Design Consultant collaborates with our registered Architect and draftsmen to provide you with a well developed plan and a seamless exteriour look..
Be it a ground floor or an upper storey extension, Capital always aims to provide designs which, satisfy the clients space requirements, look good, represent excellent value and achieve a high standard of quality and finish.

Step 4
Contract and Permit documentation
Once you are happy with your sketch designs they are expanded in to build able ‘Working Drawings’. Soil tests, Site Analysis, Contracts, Specifications, and all other documentation required to obtain a building permit are also completed.
Once it is agreed that all documentation is complete and correct contracts are signed.
A few weeks later the building permit is ready and the extension is scheduled for a construction start date, to a maximum 21 days, from the issue date of the permit.
The whole process from first contact to turning the first sod will take at least 12 weeks. This is an indication of a typical timeline, not including any town planning.
